One Killed, Another Injured in Ukrainian Drone Attack on Russia’s Belgorod Region

Moscow, Oct 17 A woman was killed and a man injured in separate Ukrainian drone attacks in Russia’s Belgorod Region, the regional crisis response centre said on Saturday.

The woman was killed when a drone struck a passenger car in the town of Shebekino, damaging the vehicle, the crisis response centre said in a statement posted on the social media platform Max. It expressed condolences to the victim’s family and relatives.

In a separate incident, a man was injured in a drone attack in the village of Voznesenovka in the Shebekinsky district. He was taken to City Hospital No. 2 in Belgorod, where he was diagnosed with acoustic trauma.

After receiving initial medical assistance, the man was admitted to the hospital’s otorhinolaryngology department, the crisis response centre added.
